FOLLOW FRIDAY: #1



Q. The Blogger Apocalypse made me a little emotional. What is the most emotional scene in a book that you have read lately?

Can I copy Parajunkee's answer and say DELIRIUM by Lauren Oliver??  

That's all I can say at the moment, I *just* finished it this morning. 

Has anyone else read Delirium?

    Yes, I've read Delirium and absolutely loved it! Sounds like it's going to be a movie, the rights were purchased the month the novel went on sale.

    Delirium has been on my shelf for a while and I keep meaning to read it but then a different book comes along. I'm going to have to move it to the top of my pile.

    To be honest, I really enjoyed but didn't *love* DELIRIUM when I first read it, but the more I think back on it the more I like it. And, boy, that ending was sad. I need to add this to my bookshelf!

    I don't think I will be reading Delirium. I don't like to cry/be more depressed than I have to be. It's okay if a book surprises me like that, but going in to it knowing I will likely need tissues is not really something I like to do.

    Divergent, on the other hand, sounds good. Let us know what you think when you get done!

    @Mocha Latte - I had no idea the movie rights were purchased! That would be great if they made it into a movie! Looking forward to it;)

    @Steph - She really is! I really need to check out her other books! I've only read Delirium!

    @Shalena - I will definitely let you know what I think when I finish! I'm already loving it and I'm not a quarter of the way through yet! And I never go into a book knowing it's going to have a sad ending, I usually stay away from them but I do get surprised every now and then like with Delirium. ;)

    I read it, loved it, handed it off to my Not-So-Bebe-Girl Autumn, who also loved it. We both said, "This would make a great movie", and then I read that Fox had optioned the movie rights! I hope they do it justice on screen!
