I have YA books that I would like to give away… and this point system (that I see everywhere) drives me nuts. Any advice on how to do giveaways? (I will not be using a point system)
(a.n.: I am not giving away THE GIVING TREE, although it is a wonderful book...)
You certainly don't have to offer extra entries! Just pick a book you want to give away, do a write up on why, say who's eligible to win (US only, international, etc.), deadline for entry and rules for entry - i.e. does entrant need to leave a comment? I'd definitely ask for e-mail address so you can contact the winner.
ReplyDeleteI've been converted to using Google forms for giveaways, because there you can ask entrants for full mailing address and that minimizes the headache of getting winners to respond to you with their mailing address later.
