EDIT: If I said I followed you but my image isn't showing up in GFC please LET ME KNOW! So I can try and follow you again. All these glitches are driving me batty. Have a great weekend!
Q. How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?
I read about six books at one time and finish about one or two per week. It takes me longer to get through books because I'm reading so many at one time! I read hard copies and E-books on my Kindle!

Wow, how do you keep all of the stories separate!? That's amazing. I get so pulled into a book that I just have to read until I finish unless something silly like work interrupts. :)
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I read a bunch of books at a time too. I know what you mean about it being harder to get through books that way.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I just recently started reading several at a time... I don't know WHY I suddenly got into this habit, just did!
ReplyDeleteMy FF Post!
Wow! 6 at a time! That would be so confusing to me! I have to read one at a time and when I'm finished I have to write the review before I start the next.

Hi and Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI am ebook fan & try to read between 3-5 books a week, depending on time & book size :)
My FF is here, http://obsessionwithbooks.blogspot.com
Have a nice weekend.
Whoa. I could never really that many books at one time, I'd get so confused! That's talent right there! I usually finish about 1 - 2 books a week too! I'm a new follower and noticed you're currently reading Wither! I just finished it and am working on the review, it's amazing! Here's my FF: http://carycheyennexo.blogspot.com/2011/05/my-first-follow-friday.html
ReplyDeleteHey Lo, came by to follow back. I just trained myself to be able to read more then one book at time. Thats what happens when you start book blogging. Your reading has to pick up haha Happy FF!

ReplyDeleteStopping by from the hop. I'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteSix books a week is amazing! I normally only read two or three.
Have a nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteAmy@adumbrations
Thanks for stopping by my FF! I can only read 1-2 books at a time, otherwise I get confused…I have a one track mind….KIndle is the bomb!
ReplyDeleteBook Savvy Babe
Six books at one time?? Wow! I would totally confuse myself that way, but then again, I'm easily confused. :) I love being able to read a hard copy and also on an ereader. SOOO helpful!
ReplyDeleteWow! Six books at once! I'm a one-book-at-a-time reader. I like to be engrossed in the world I'm reading about. But, that's awesome that you can read so many at once.
ReplyDeleteSix books at once?! I usually have two going but if I start a third, I usually start getting confused unless they're ridiculously different.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog!!
ReplyDeleteThis was a nice book blogger question. My answer will probably embarrass me in comparison with my peers!
ReplyDeleteFollow me back to my blog at prepare to be stunned – http://www.howardsherman.net

I try to read multiple books at a time but I find it takes me longer so I just for 1-2 :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
New Follower *wink*
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Always makes me happy to see new faces :D
6 books at one time?! Girl, that's pure craziness! :) I think I could handle 2 books at one time, but anything more than that and my chicken brain gets confused ;) Plus I really like to get lost in the story and jumping from one story to another doesn't really work well for me :)
New follower hopping by on the Friday Follow! Six books at a time..wow that's a lot, I can handle about 3 at a time. Thanks for stopping by my Friday Follow today. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I'm following you as well! Super cute btw...
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! Wow impressive reading six at once I can probably do two or three but six is awesome! Im following here now thanks again :)
ReplyDeleteOh you're good to start that many books at once!! I can't do that, I get my story lines crossed over. LOL
ReplyDeleteWow!! 6 books at a time?!?! I can hardly keep up with 2 books at a time. More than 2 and my brain kinda gets a scrambled. Lol. I prefer e-books though I love printed books too. Thanks for visiting my blog =D
ReplyDelete@Kaye - I have a really short attention span so even if I'm enjoying a book sometimes I just need to change it up a bit; so I usually read two chapters in a book then switch books lol. If the books are in any way similar, then it can get confusing, but otherwise it's not that hard! ;)
ReplyDelete@Alison - It definitely IS harder! I usually read two chapters at a time before switching books; so it drives me crazy to see I haven't gotten that far through a book when I could've finished ONE in the time it's taken me to read one chapter in all six. (That was a really long sentence...)
@Bookish Brunette - It makes it more interesting though doesn't it? To be involved in so many different worlds at once! Thanks for stopping by! ;)
@Rie Conley - I have to write my review after I've closed the last page of the book as well! Otherwise it will never get written. That's the downside to reading so many books at once, if I don't write my review right away I'll sometimes forget what I felt when reading it.
@Sharon - I wish I could do that! ;)
@Cary Cheyenne - I'm definitely going to check out your review when I'm finished! It really is an amazing book so far!
@Tristan - So true!
@Larissa - Thanks so much Larissa! ;)
@Mel u - Thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one who reads that many books at once lol.
@Carla - I read one to two as well! I just happen to be reading six books at one time, switching them intermittently! ;)
@Amy - You're not the only one without a Kindle! Most of my friends don't have one and mine was a recent gift so don't feel bad! ;)
@Book Savvy Babe - Kindle is the bomb lol! It makes the world a better place ;)
@Christy - I'm easily confused as well! I always make sure the books I'm reading aren't similar so I don't get them confused! ;)
@Jenni Elyse - I like to be engrossed in the world as well, it really depends on the writing. If I'm just trying to finish a book then switching books after a couple of chapters helps to keep my interest! ;)
@Carrie - Your welcome!
@Howard Sherman - I'm so glad it's Friday as well!
@Laura - It definitely does take longer! That's the only downside to reading so many books at one time!
@Evie - It sounds crazy doesn't it? Lol. I get confused too! I just make sure the books I'm reading are pretty different from each other so they don't all start to blend together! Thanks for stopping by! ;)
@Lori - 3 at a time is still a lot lol! And thank you! You too!
@Victoria - Thanks so much! ;)
Hey, i am now a follower! Somebody reminded me you do do it from the thingy at the top. So, yeah red faced a little.
ReplyDeleteAmy@adumbrations
@Amy - A lot of people don't realize that so you're not alone! ;) Thanks for following!
ReplyDeleteI know this is crazy, but I often listen to audiobooks while reading. It helps me get through my TBR pile faster! I'm trying to read 150 books this year -- and finish the debut author challenge, so I've got to keep on plugging.
ReplyDeleteHi! Stopping by for FF! I am a new follower! I see that you are reading Wither. I bought the book but I haven't had time to get to it yet. I hope it is good.
ReplyDeleteFollow me back at http://www.magicalurbanfantasyreads.com/
Wow! Six books at a time, huh? That's a lot to juggle. ;) But whatever works for you! I try not to go past three books; it's too overwhelming for me. Lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!

Lisa @ Once Upon A Chapter
Sorry it took so long, but GFC was down and then i couldnt comment, but i finally figured out the problem for comments and am now FINALLY here to say i am following you =]
ReplyDeleteOh and did you follow back already? If so what name does it show up as, because i have a new follower but i dont know where they came from? lol its confusing just let me know cause i saw your update about how things might have gotten messed up with gfc being down
ReplyDelete@Madigan McGillicuddy - That is crazy! Lol. I've never heard of anyone doing that before! That's multitasking at it's best. I might have to try that, maybe I won't fall asleep so much during audiobooks then! ;)
ReplyDelete@BookLuvr Mindy - Wither is SO GOOD so far! You should start pronto!! Lol. You're going to love it.
@Bex - I used to only do three books but then I'd always get interested in another and want to start that one too so somehow I got up to six! ;)
@Lisa Jo - Thanks so much Lisa Jo! ;)
@Bookbitereviews - I know, all these issues with Blogger are driving me nuts! And I left a comment on your page! ;)
Wow 6 books at a time? :p That's incredible! I can't even read two books at a time -_-.
ReplyDeleteAnyway happy reading !
